Courtlet keeps the padel score on your watch so you can concentrate on the match.

What Courtlet does

Courtlet is a wrist scorekeeper for padel. You tap the side that won the rally. It tracks games, sets, tie-breaks, deuce format, and who is serving. It runs on Apple Watch, Wear OS, and supported Garmin watches. Scoring does not need an account or an internet connection.

The iPhone and Android phone apps are companions for history, notes, and deletion. You do not score on the phone. Garmin keeps history on the watch.

Getting started

On Apple Watch, install Courtlet from the App Store. Wear OS and Garmin listings are still on the way; those buttons on the homepage say Coming soon and are not download links.

Open Courtlet on the watch. You should see Start Match, or a match that was already in progress. The first screen is the app itself — there is no splash screen to dismiss.

Start a match

1. Tap Start Match.
2. If warm-up is on, the workout or activity starts and you tap Play when you are ready to score. If warm-up is off, you go straight on.
3. Choose who is serving.

Defaults are best of three and Star Point. Change match length and deuce format in Settings before you start, or from the Actions screen during a match. Labels default to Us and Them. Serving / Receiving is an alternative and follows whichever side is serving.

How scoring works

Tap Us or Them for the side that won the rally. The serving side shows a ball. Points run 0, 15, 30, 40, then the deuce format you chose.

• Star Point (default): two advantage cycles, then the next rally wins the game.
• Silver point: one advantage. If it is broken, the next point wins.
• Golden point: 40–40 is decided by the next rally.
• Regular: advantage continues until one side leads by two points.

A set is first to six games, win by two. At 6–6, Courtlet starts a tie-break to seven, win by two. If you chose 2 sets + TB, the deciding set is a 10-point match tie-break, win by two. Serve rotates after each game and during tie-breaks.

On Garmin watches with Up and Down buttons, Up scores Us and Down scores Them. Menu opens Actions. Touch-only watches score by tapping the two sides.

You can confirm the score on the watch before the next point. Courtlet is a scorekeeper, not a referee. The players still decide the call on court.

Undo a point

If you tap the wrong side:

• Tap that same side again within about three seconds. A ring on the button counts down.
• On a Garmin watch that scores with buttons, press the same button again within about three seconds.
• After that window, open Actions and undo while the match is still in progress.
• After a game, the summary offers Undo and Next.
• After a set, the summary stays until you choose Next set, New serve, Undo, or End match. New serve is there while the new set has not started.

End a match

Play on and Courtlet completes the match when the format says it is over. To stop sooner, choose End match from Actions or from the set summary, then confirm. That match is kept in history as ended early.

Discard is for a false start. Confirm it, and the match is not added to history. A discarded match is gone on purpose.

Match history

• Apple Watch: completed and ended-early matches sync to the iPhone companion when the phone is reachable. On the iPhone you can add a note and delete a match. Notes stay on the phone. They are not sent to the watch.
• Wear OS: the same pattern, with the Android phone companion. Sync uses Google Play services between your watch and your phone.
• Garmin: history is on the watch. The history screen lists matches. It does not delete them one by one. Removing Courtlet from the watch removes the matches stored in the app. An activity already saved in Garmin Connect stays there.

Deleting a match on the phone also deletes its note, and it tells the watch not to restore that match. It does not delete a workout already saved in Apple Health, on the Wear OS watch, or in Garmin Connect.

An in-progress match is stored on the watch and should still be there after a restart. There is no Courtlet account and no Courtlet website where matches are stored.

Workouts

Start Match tries to record the session as exercise. Apple Fitness and Wear OS show it as tennis, because that is the activity type those platforms provide. Garmin uses a padel activity where the watch supports it.

If another app already owns the workout, Courtlet asks you to continue without a workout or to cancel and stop the other session first. You can still keep score without a workout. If a system workout screen stays in front, close or swipe it away. On Apple Watch, the complication or Live Activity can open the score again.

Troubleshooting

• Close Courtlet and open it again.
• Restart the watch, then open Courtlet. An in-progress match should restore. A discarded match will not.
• When the store listing is available, install the latest version.
• If history is missing on iPhone or Android, keep the phone nearby and open both apps so they can sync. Garmin history is only on the watch.
• If the score looks wrong, undo from Actions if the match is still in progress. Courtlet will not rebuild a finished game on its own.

If that does not sort it, email support with the watch model and what was on screen. This page does not ask you to unpair devices or clear system settings, because those steps are not required for ordinary scoring problems.
